Inficon has been selected to receive the prestigious Golden Gas Award for 2014, presented annually by Gases & Instrumentation International Magazine to recognise significant new products for their ability to solve an important challenge for the gas industry. The Inficon Micro GC Fusion Gas Analyzer was the winning entry, in the Gas Chromatography category.

Paul Nesdore, Gases & Instrumentation’s Editor noted that, “The judges found that the Inficon Micro GC Fusion is at the top end of portable GC offerings.  Micro GC Fusion, with its MEMS technology and ppm detection limit, is at the cutting edge of this technology.”

Building on proven Micro GC technology, coupled with temperature programming, Micro GC Fusion covers extended gas phase analysis (up to C12) with excellent sensitivity and repeatability. “We are pleased to receive this award and want to recognise our R&D and engineering teams for their outstanding work in developing a product that further improves our customer’s ability to solve their gas analysis problems,” said Peter Maier, President of the Intelligent Sensors Systems Business Unit of Inficon.
