OK so ceramic tubes are not that flexible, but what is very flexible indeed is the range of stand and mounting configurations that are available for use with Carbolite tube furnaces.

In addition to the conventional horizontally mounted designs, models are available in which the furnace body can be split around either a (regular) ‘near hinge’ or a (wider opening) ‘far hinge’.

Used in combination with vertical stands they make operation with reactors and extension test rigs much easier. Finally there is the option of mounting the furnace body onto a bracket with the control module connected via a conduit just as it is when mounted on a vertical stand.
