Gilson Inc, an industry leader in purification systems for HPLC, SPE and GPC clean-up, introduces the latest in mass spec technology to the industry leading purification platforms. Gilson’s LCMS purification system combines industry leading mass spectrometry capabilities with mass ranges from 50 to 3000 amu and scan speeds up to 10,000 amu/sec with the most reliable liquid handling, injection and fraction collection platforms on the market today.

Gilson has taken the Trilution LC platform, a software package specifically designed for preparative purification, and added the FLEXAR Single Quad MS as a detector to trigger mass based fraction collection. Conditional logic collection of Trilution LC allows for utilising UV, DAD, and up to seven target masses with up to 3 adducts per target mass in SIM or SCAN with Extracted Ion modes.

The system has been designed with the user in mind. Mass based purification no longer has to be an intimidating and difficult to use system. Control of the single quad is as simple and easy to follow as any detector in the software but provides the specificity and efficiency of mass based purification.
