General laboratory equipment specialist Shinetek Instruments brings out its first model of next generation magnetic stirrer/hot plate. As part of the Wiggens brand the new WH-220 HT comes with infrared heating technology and a glass ceramic top plate which is unique in the world of magnetic stirrers and hot plates.

The infrared heating technology allows the Wiggens WH-220 HT to go up to a maximum temperature of 500°C in order to meet the increasing demand towards high temperature heating. The advantages of infrared heating, however, are manifold and not limited to the high maximum temperature. The heat is provided almost instantaneously and can be cut off just as quick. The instant heat provision and the nearly loss-free heat transfer enables the Wiggens WH-220 HT to heat up solutions much quicker than traditional stirrers with heating function and to provide a much more stable temperature once the desired mark is reached.

The glass ceramic top plate is perfectly fitted and sealed on top of the stirrer so that spilled liquids are prevented from entering the interior of the device. The glass ceramic material can resist over 700°C thermal shocks and shows a very good chemical resistance, which significantly enhances the durability of the Wiggens WH-220 HT.

With a heating power of 500W, the Wiggens WH-220 HT is a highly effective and economical stirrer / hot plate, which comes in a compact design and can be operated intuitively and conveniently via touch key pad.
