Newly Launched Analytical Grade Oxygen (5.0) Generator Announced
Apr 22 2021
Leman Instruments are proud to offer their new 99.999% oxygen generator. This new product will be a huge asset to every user of elemental spectroscopy (including organic and inorganic spectroscopy).
The generator comes in different capacities: up to 1LPM or 4LPM. These two formats have been designed to supply most of the analysers on the market, such as, Thermo Fisher, Leco, Elementar and Shimadzu, to name a few.
Within these capacities there are 2 types of 99.999% generators. The first is designed for petrochemical analysis (mostly sulphurs) as OXY50L S-1 or 4. The second is designed for protein analysis as OXY50L P-1 or 4. The OXY50L P-1 or 4 can also be used for the sulphur detection.
Leman Instruments is using a revolutionary patented technology of Advanced Smart Pressure Swing Absorption (ASPSA). The user will simply need some compressed air from his laboratory in reasonable quantities - around 6 bar - to obtain the perfect O2 quality for its application.
Owing to the high cost of the grade 5.0 O2 cylinders, Leman Instruments guarantee a return on investment within 6 months for the consumption of 4 LPM and within 1 year for the consumption of 1 LPM. Financially, every laboratory manager/user will see a huge saving from this ultra high purity O2 generator.
As the generator provides continuous production, the calibration steps required every time a new bottle of O2 is installed are unnecessary, and the purity of the O2 will be stable. The generator is small and transportable compared to a bottle of O2, making it mobile in the laboratory or, if necessary, even in the field. The instrument is designed with very minimal maintenance needs, meaning the user will have extremely limited maintenance costs across the generator life.
Thanks to Leman’s different partners, this generator line has been successfully tested on different models from many leading brands. Due to its patent, Leman Instruments is the only gas generator manufacturer able to provide this exciting new product.
