Sayaka ranked first among medical lab equipment by Frost
Aug 10 2010
Frost predicts a potential uptake within the market of 97 per cent for the platform, which uses mosaicing to create a large image of the intestine from many smaller captured images.
While this is relatively common among similar lab equipment, the analyst notes that RF has developed mosaicing to an extent whereby it can be used to image the complete small and large intestine.
Around 870,000 images in total are taken per cycle, at a rate of 20 per rotation, with the pictures rapidly stitched together to create the finished, mosaic view of the patient.
Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards aim to highlight particularly strong performers achieving world-class results in a wide variety of different industries and disciplines.
