CoolLED has released the new pE-2 Collimator for the precisExcite LED source for fluorescence microscopy. With enhanced flexibility and interchangeable high-performance optics, samples can be excited without vibration, heat, delay and unnecessary photo-bleaching. Fast switching in microseconds using TTL control has been established. Software compatibility with many leading imaging packages has been completed. In addition, CoolLED has added to its growing range of LED excitation wavelengths with new LAMs in the Green region. There are now 11 excitation wavelengths across the spectrum covering most fluorescent proteins.
