Micropix Ltd was established in 2010 to offer our customers a more cost-effective way of capturing and analysing high-quality images from a microscope.

The Micropix microscope colour camera range includes 3MP (Megapixel), 5MP and 9MP CMOS cameras for basic image capture, documentation and analysis and 3MP, 5MP and 6MP CCD cameras for more demanding imaging applications. All of the cameras have a convenient USB output and come with free, opensource imaging software that allows the user to view a live image on your screen and capture images in a range of formats (jpeg, tiff, bmp, raw etc). The free software can be installed on as many computers as you like and comes with a range of analysis tools including measurements, scale bar, multipoint counting, annotation (including arrows and text), contrast, colour and brightness adjustment, sharpening filters and many more functions.
