Moticam S2 & T2 new touch screen tablet microscopy solutions

Motic, worldwide leader in educational and high-end microscopy, introduces an addition to their range of cameras dedicated to Digital Microscopy, the Moticam S2 & T2. 

Motic’s new cameras combine the latest technology applied in microscopy, which consists in integrating Android tablets of 7” and 10” to a digital camera for microscopy applications.

Both cameras can be connected to most of the microscopes available in the market, allowing the user to comfortably view live images directly from the tablet by simply activating the pre-installed App 'Moticam T'.

Thanks to this new App the user will be able to get the maximum profit from the camera by capturing images up to 5MP, or by recording videos in HD and sharing them with a simple touch on the screen. But there is more, this App also includes the option to make measurements on the captured image, to apply a scale or grid on a live image, as well as a feature that enables the user to easily upload captured images on a report format that can later on be sent via e-mail directly from the tablet to any place around the world.

Both Moticam S2 & T2 include “HotSpot” technology, which gives the user the option to share the live image from the camera via Wi-Fi to others devices such as iPads, tablets or smartphones thanks to the MotiConnect App, or even obtain it via PC or MAC.

If this is still not enough, the user also has the option to visualise the image on a bigger screen by using an HDMI port and connecting it to a TV or projector, thus enjoying the images in HD resolution.
