Motic Microscopes presents a new Full HD Multi-Output camera, the Moticam 1080, as the improved successor of the well-established model Moticam580. The Moticam 1080 is dedicated to documentation of microscopic results with a clear focus on maximum colour fidelity and fast live image.

The Moticam 1080 as a stand-alone system works without computer and delivers an impressive 1080 (60P) live image on HDMI screen. Still images or videos from the microscope can be saved onto an SD card. To control image and capture parameters via a powerful onboard software, just connect a wireless mouse to the USB port.

In case the full functionality of the new Motic Images Plus 3.0 with its measuring tools is needed, the Moticam 1080 can also be plugged into a Windows, OSX or Linux system through USB.

“With its powerful onboard software the new Moticam 1080 displays a state-of-the-art live image, a real highlight in the history of Motic’s Multi-Output cameras,” Dr Hans-Jürgen Klemenz, Product Manager in Motic Europe, pointed out.

The Moticam 1080 comes along as a well-known All-in-one Box concept. Software and additional mounting options are included as well as a calibration tool.
