Motic Instruments, the well-known Chinese manufacturer of compound light microscopes and cameras confirms the wide acceptance of the updated version of its established BA polarisation microscope. The new BA310POL model is a complete application solution for the detection of birefringence in transparent samples of different origin:  sections of rocks, crystals, plastics, fibres, and also biological materials such as cell walls and starch grains.

“In our BA310POL we implemented all improvements of our successful CCIS© Infinity optical system.  A complete solution, including Bertrand lens, this is the way we like to convince our customers,” Dr Hans-Jürgen Klemenz, Product Manager in Motic Europe, stated.

Strain-free optical components are the basis of a convincing optical performance. The smooth movement of the rotating stage allows precise semi-quantitative measurements with a selection of optional compensators. An integrated Amici Bertrand lens gives access to diffraction patterns and thus texture information.

Motic products are distributed through a network of well-known lab suppliers and dedicated microscope specialists.
