Fuji Electric has appointed DRM Technic Ltd as its exclusive UK and Ireland distribution partner for process and environmental gas analysers.

Martin McGraw, Director of DRM Technic explained: “The Fuji Electric brand of gas analysers really are world leading products that we have had good experience with across mainland Europe. They benefit the user by providing high quality measurements at excellent price levels. In addition, Fuji Electric offer a 5 component extractive analyser that covers most combustion gas measurements in a single unit whereas the other analyser manufacturers only offer a 4 component unit. This benefits the customer greatly as they save the costs of a second analyser to cover the 5th component”

Mr. McGraw added: “We believe that Fuji Electric will be a real alternative for customers in the future, however, the Fuji brand is lacking the MCerts certification that is required in the UK for environmental monitoring applications. Therefore, DRM Technic is commissioning Sira Test & Certification Ltd to obtain MCerts approval. The first product will be the model ZRE 5 component analyser for applications such as waste incineration and large combustion.”

Sales of new products and support for existing customers will be provided directly by DRM Technic from the Staffordshire facilities. This also includes in-house and on-site service and repairs.

Mr. Itsuro Mita, Vice President of Fuji Electric Europe commented: “We are delighted to be partnering with such a well-respected company to help us develop our gas analysers in the UK and Ireland. DRM Technic has an extensive knowledge of the environmental and process monitoring industries and will provide excellent support from a very experienced company.”
