New Vice President Joins Swedish Life Sciences Company

Uppsala-based Gyros Protein Technologies AB, specialists in automated nanoliter-scale immunoassays and a provider of peptide synthesizers and reagents, has appointed Mark Vossenaar as Vice President Sales, Europe.

Mr Vossenaar brings more than 25 years of experience in developing and leading life and health science commercial teams, having worked for large and small companies such as Amersham Bioscience, GE Healthcare, Stratagene, Agilent Technologies and most recently Hill-Rom International.

The company was established in March 2016 by the merger of Gyros AB and Protein Technologies, Inc., with combined technologies in microfluidics, systems development, immunoassay expertise and development of instruments for peptide synthesis.
