Nottingham-based Patricell, a provider of immunology and biotech products to research laboratories, pharmaceutical companies and universities, is poised to grow in the UK and Europe with the appointment of experienced business development manager, Lucy Robertshaw.

Lucy has many years experience working with AstraZeneca and was involved with its Global Redeployment Project, which looked at efficiency improvements, associated with focused resource utilisation.  Specifically, Lucy assisted with the relocation of laboratory equipment to global sites in the sale of unwanted and surplus equipment. She later took up the role as Business Development Director for Arena Instrumentation in Scandinavia, with responsibility for developing the market in both Denmark and Sweden.

Commenting on the appointment, Lucy said: “I am excited to be part of the team. Patricell has a loyal customer base that enjoys the personal approach that Patricell offers. I intend to develop those relationships and open up new opportunities for growth in the UK, Scandinavia and the wider European market.”

Managing Director, Patrick Munch-Fals, commented: “Lucy will be working with me to raise our profile in the market and develop clear strategies to help us to grow Patricell. It is not just about the products we offer, but about our clear understanding of what our customers are trying to achieve and our ability to ensure that we offer them the right advice to support their research projects. Lucy’s experience will be of significant importance to Patricell and to our clients.”
