Science Warehouse, a UK leader in web-based purchasing solutions, has recently made three strategic appointments to its 25 strong team. Peter Smallwood joins the implementation team with responsibility for developing and initiating key accounts with blue chip clients, using his experience to maximise growth for the company.
Zoe Oldroyd joins as Business Analyst working directly with existing customers to drive effective services and as create tailor-made solutions with the development team; Zoe and Peter are also joined by Robert Toller, who will help the team to manage content and will maintain the company’s e-catalogue data systems.
The appointments follow Science Warehouse’s recent contract wins with the University of Manchester and St George’s, University of London. The universities appointed Science Warehouse to provide purpose built and userfriendly purchase control and deliver efficiencies and savings following a competitive tender process.
David Hames, Chairman at Science Warehouse, said: “Against a backdrop of budget efficiencies in both the public and private sector we are seeing increasing demand of our intelligent catalogue services and we are delighted to welcome Peter, Zoe and Robert to the team to further our offering. We are dedicated to creating cost effective, innovative e-business solutions for our customers and their experience and successful track record in the industry complements our existing team’s skills. The appointments are an essential element in our UK expansion plans.”
