Shimadzu UK has unveiled a new 1500m² product evaluation laboratory facility at its central UK headquarters in Milton Keynes offering an array of LC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, spectroscopy instrumentation and associated equipment for potential customers to assess and work with prior to purchase.

Use of an equipped training and seminar room with professional AV facilities, and the support of eight experienced laboratory instrumentation professionals can guide visitors through a thorough evaluation programme tailored to their demands. The centre also includes a large, fully equipped state-of-the-art service workshop.

“We are striving to make our new Evaluation Laboratory a centre for excellence where existing customers or potential new ones can be safe in the knowledge that they can try out various pieces of equipment and run them through their paces before finalising on what is the best system solution to meet their particular application requirements. We aim to provide the best possible tailored ‘solution tool’ for their business,” explained Colin Jump, Shimadzu UK’s Managing Director. “Our goal is ‘Best in Class’ equipment as well as post sales service and support. The new centre will help us to support our customers and their Shimadzu equipment throughout its working life. Shimadzu offers scheduled

training courses at competitive rates for both basic and advanced equipment and software use as well as applications courses designed by our experts to meet a user’s requirements”.
