Techmate was established in 1974 to specialise in the supply of Nalgene labware, both nationwide and abroad. A family run business with traditional views on customer service, Techmate offers the flexibility often missing from corporate companies.

The company are suppliers to many large pharmaceutical companies, medical research agencies, government and local authority establishments along with a myriad of smaller firms.

Although initially established as a dedicated supplier of Nalgene labware, as a Thermo Scientific Channel partner, Nunc, Matrix and Sterilin products are also offered.The recently re- launched website featuring additional product lines and accounts allows customers to see their special pricing and stock indicators.A bespoke computerised order system is used to ensure adequate stock levels, thereby guaranteeing orders are dispatched quickly and efficiently to meet customer deadlines.

Techmate have a very stable and loyal workforce who pride themselves on the expertise gained both technically and commercially, and they are very committed to the highest level of service and flexibility required by their wide range of customers. In 1995 registration to ISO 9002 was achieved and internal and external audits by BSI continue to reinforce the company’s commitment to quality.
