Dionex Corporation is to ship 42 ICS-1100 systems to Poland for use in environmental laboratories throughout the country. The tender order won by distributor AGA Analytical brings the number of these Dionex IC instruments in use by the Polish Environmental Inspectorate to 76. The new units, to be used for the analysis of inorganic anions in water and air samples, were said to have been chosen because of technical advantages over other systems, including the use of 2mm microbore columns and self-regenerating membrane suppressors; as well as for a reasonable pricing structure that resulted in an overall lower cost of ownership. “We congratulate AGA Analytical for obtaining this large order for Dionex against the competition from other companies offering standard ion chromatography,” a spokesperson for Dionex said.
