Fisher Scientific Announces Supplier Excellence Awards

Fisher Scientific, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, recently announced the winners of its Supplier Awards during its third pan European Sales Meeting, held in Malta. More than 750 delegates from 21 countries and 45 companies. attended the four-day event, which included an exhibition showcase with 66 booths featuring products from Fisher Scientific and other leading suppliers.  The event also featured a gala dinner where winning suppliers received their Excellence Awards. The list of winners were as follows:

Private Label Supplier of the Year: Control Company

Marketing Support Award: Thermo Scientific BioSciences Division

Logistics Award: Duran Group SciLabware

New Product Introduction Award: Thermo Scientific Laboratory Consumables Division

Excellence Award: 3M

Channel Support Award: Merck Millipore

Sales Support Award: Thermo Scientific Laboratory Products Group

Supplier of the Yea:r Kimberly-Clark Professional

This year’s event drew enthusiastic response from delegates. The event was hailed as a “huge success” by John Tourlas, VP Commercial Operations for Fisher Scientific and the excellent feedback included Lauren Dyer, Life Science Specialist for Fisher Scientific Europe who described the event as   “a fantastic place to meet colleagues from across Europe and to make great connections”.  Of the supplier exhibition, Al Bru at Particle Technology Products responded with “Highly valuable – we’ll be back next year."
