Waters Opens Subsidiaries in Malaysia

A new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is now handling all sales, service, support and distribution of Waters and TA Instrument technologies direct to customers. “Due to the dynamic development of the analytical instrument business in Malaysia, Waters is delighted to extend our support to our expanding customer base by establishing direct in-country operations. Speaking on behalf of all new Waters employees in Malaysia, we are extremely excited to take our sales and service capabilities to new levels,” said Mathieu Laouenan, General Manager of South East Asia & Australia, Waters Division. “We would also like to thank our valued long-term business partner, Research Instruments Sdn. Bhd for their full support and professional help in planning this transition,” continued Mr. Laouenan.

To manage the newly created subsidiary Waters Analytical Instruments Sdn. Bhd., the company also announced the appointment of Krishna Kodoth as General Manager, Malaysia, focusing on Waters branded technologies and services.

With 11 years in sales and management positions, Mrs. Jasmine Keller Ooi has been appointed the TA Instruments Country Manager with responsibility for both Singapore and Malaysia.
