Amsbio’s Detachin™ Cell Detachment Solution offers a superior alternative to traditional Trypsin/EDTA, providing fast, gentle detachment of a wide range of adherent cells from in vitro growth vessels. Proven in multiple recent studies [1-4], Detachin™ maintains phenotypic accuracy and downstream assay reproducibility across primary immune cells, patient-derived cancer models, engineered mammalian lines, and high-throughput screening systems.
The proprietary formulation combines protease and collagenase activity in an isotonic phosphate buffer with EDTA, supporting the safe detachment of even the most delicate cells. Detachin™ has been successfully tested on numerous cell types, including stem cells, fibroblasts, hepatocytes, neuronal cells, immune cells, vascular endothelial cells, and a variety of immortalised lines such as HEK293, HeLa, CHO, NIH-3T3, and Vero.
Stable at 4°C for up to two months, Detachin™ maximises cell viability and leaves no mammalian or bacterial byproducts, eliminating the need for washing. Available in multiple sizes and formats, it offers an economical, reliable solution for labs handling routine or demanding cell detachment workflows.
