Customised HPLC storage cabinet with integrated waste management
May 07 2025
The new Köttermann HPLC storage cabinet combines flexible storage for HPLC and UHPLC systems with a thoughtfully designed waste management solution. The spacious cabinet can be customised to suit the HPLC device model and local requirements. Whether free-standing or as part of a laboratory bench, each version can be adapted precisely to the room and equipment dimensions, thus optimising space utilisation.
Pull-out equipment section
A convenient pull-out in the lower cabinet section allows the HPLC system to be extended for easy service and maintenance. Technical interventions can thus be carried out in a time-saving and ergonomic manner without having to move or relocate the device.
Integrated waste management
Waste is collected cleanly and conveniently in a collector unit in the base cabinet section. A user-friendly sensor continuously monitors the fill level and signals when emptying is required. This ensures that solvent waste is stored safely within the cabinet - without additional space requirements or external equipment.
Modularity and expandability
The modular Köttermann design allows for retrofitting at any time – _for example, pull-out shelves for solvent bottles, media connections or cable glands. The internal dimensions are precisely tailored to standard tower UHPLC devices. Built-in plug sockets and data sockets in the interior and storage space for a PC simplify ongoing operation. In addition, a point extraction system can be retrofitted to remove solvent vapours directly at the source.
