KERN & SOHN GmbH is launching a new high-capacity precision balance with a password-protected user administration system. The KERN FEJ is ideal for use in applications such as the pharmaceutical industry because the user administration system enables unique assignment of the user and protects the balance against unauthorised access. In addition, the balance supports the integrity of data, such as the weighing result, sample ID, user name or balance ID.

Accurate results, regardless of location

The KERN FEJ also offers a wide range of application possibilities in the laboratory as well as the chemical, food and plastic industries. Depending on the model, it has a large weighing range of up to 62 kg, with a readout of 0.1 or 1 g. The automatic internal adjustment guarantees a high level of accuracy, regardless of location.

In addition, the KERN FEJ is simple to clean. This is due to the robust metal housing as well as the stainless steel display device with protection against dust and water splashes to IP65. The clear LCD display as well as the freely-assignable function keys, which enable individual adjustment of the balance, both contribute to the simple, intuitive operation.
