Leading stable isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) manufacturer Isoprime Ltd has rebranded to Elementar UK Ltd, to share the same name as its parent company Elementar Analysensysteme GmbH. The rebrand aims to unify the stable isotope and elemental analysis product lines into a single company.

Isoprime retained its own brand name, website and identity after the Elementar Group acquired the gas source IRMS product range in 2008. Now, the stable isotope product portfolio has been incorporated into the Elementar brand to eradicate any confusion and establish a unified company that offers comprehensive solutions to the chemical, agricultural, energy, forensic, environmental and materials markets.

Mr Albrecht Sieper, Managing Director of Elementar, said: "Due to the deep synergies between the IRMS portfolio and our core elemental analysis products, we see substantial opportunity in expanding our offering to the market with better integrated, highly innovative products and comprehensive support from knowledgeable experts.

"Renaming Isoprime Ltd as Elementar UK Ltd follows a broader strategy of expanding the Elementar Group of companies globally."

The rebrand has involved a switch from the old Isoprime website to the new Elementar UK site, which now features both stable isotope and elemental analysis product lines. One key area of focus for Elementar UK is Total Organic Carbon (TOC). Recently Elementar have increased their TOC instrument range to encompass new applications.

Elementar UK also want to take the opportunity to announce their 2017 Elemental Analysis, TOC and IRMS training workshops which will take place on 5th & 6th September at the Museum Of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Manchester. These are manufacturer independent training events focusing on the core principals of these techniques to maximise performance regardless of instrument make. More information can be found here.
