Science World, the Fisher Scientific Laboratory Experience, returned to Berlin on 1 June following a great show at the same venue two years ago. The event, hosted by Thermo Fisher Scientific, showcased the latest in laboratory innovations available through the Fisher Scientific channel. Thousands of products were in action for attendees to experience, making it an ideal for anyone working in or around a laboratory.

Highlights from Science World included Ranga Yogeshwar who presented a keynote speech entitled ‘Innovation – Next Exit Future’, Physikanten & Co who amazed and astounded the audience with a number of explosive performances all related to the power of science and a comprehensive seminar programme that covered 21 topics.

As the most successful Science World in Germany to date, the event attracted 643 delegates from a wide catchment including Leipzig, Dresden and Magdeburg and generated 2137 sales leads and bringing 47 leading suppliers together.

“It is important to us to build the Fisher Scientific brand in the German market, and participating in these events to really help show our strengths and value proposition,” said Frank Schestag, Sales Director for the Fisher Scientific channel in Germany.

“Germany is one of the biggest markets we have in Europe and the world of science is growing every year. It’s important for us, as one of the biggest suppliers in the world, to be here, to be connected with that customer base,” said Stephen Pickering, Vice President, Commercial Operations
