Gast Group Appoints Southern Manager

The Gast Group – a member of the Idex Corporation’s health and sciences division – has appointed Michael Roff as Regional Sales Manager for the South of England with responsibility for growing the company’s OEM

business and supporting key accounts. Michael joins the company with many years experience in the pneumatics industry having started his career at Norgren where, over a period of 12 years, he worked his way

from apprentice through to production engineering, the drawing office and eventually into sales. Having left Norgrento pursue other interests, he returned to pneumatics working for Camozzi and a Norgren distributor before continuing his career in capital equipment sales with CompAir. Michael is also studying for the Diploma in Compressed Air Management (DipCAM), which is a BCAS-developed, distance learning qualification providing

technical expertise in the principles of compressed air systems. Commenting for the Gast Group, Managing Director Adrian Lee said: “We welcome Michael to the team at an interesting and busy time for the company as we continue to launch new products, including a range of GAST linear pumps and Jun-Air’s iSeries self-contained compressed air package.

”Michael joins the Gast Group’s UK sales team, which includes Carl Joynes (Distribution Manager) and Andrew Lidington (Business Development Manager). In his spare time Michael, who is married and has a young son, enjoys surfing as often as possible and is about to take to the seas – and possibly skies – kite surfing.”
