Ipsogen SA (Marseille, France) a molecular diagnostic company specialising in the development, production and commercialisation of diagnostic assays for breast cancer and leukemias, has appointed Hélène Peyro-Saint- Paul as Chief Medical Officer.
“We are delighted to welcome Hélène Peyro- Saint-Paul within our management team”, commented Vincent Fert, Ipsogen’s CEO. “Hélène has a very significant international experience in clinical development, medical affairs and marketing of innovative products and she has been working with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. This represents an asset to Ipsogen as we expand our product range, therapeutic areas and international presence.” During her career, Hélène Peyro-Saint-Paul has contributed to the development and launch of several innovative molecules and was European Neuro-Psychiatry Medical Lead at Bristol-Myers Squibb before joing Ipsogen Before that, she served as European Medical Affairs Director, then Strategic Marketing Director for metabolic diseases at Actelion and was also International Medical Affairs Director at Serono. Hélène Peyro-Saint-Paul holds a doctorate in Medicine (Neurology) from Toulouse University, a degree in Molecular Genetics and a Master in Neuroscience from Paris VI University. Since joining the pharmaceutical industry, she has developed her expertise in pharmacoeconomics and received an Executive MBA from ESSEC in 2000.
