Porvair Opens ISO Class 8 Clean Room Facility

Porvair Filtration Group, a leading developer and manufacturer of novel, high performance sintered porous plastic materials and products for life science applications, has opened a new Class 100000 (ISO Class 8) clean room facility at its Wrexham, UK site. The new clean room facility is part of ongoing investment to produce and package regulatory controlled materials and assembled products in a clean environment. The company has over 25 years experience in design, manufacture and assembly solutions that meet OEM customer requirements, underpinned by an ISO 9001-2000 quality assurance program, cGMP practices and clean room environment. Its newly developed purified material, BioVyon™ can be chemically modified with the resultant polymeric products experiencing uptake by pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare and analytical companies.
