In February/March 2010 the UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO), on behalf of the Sensors & Instrumentation KC, carried out a study of Patent family data to analyse the technology landscape covering the application of microand nano-technology to biosensors and biosensing. The findings of this study are published in the IPO report ‘The application of micro- and nano-technology to biosensors and biosensing’.
This analyses technology and application trends over time, identifies important patents and assesses university innovation and knowledge transfer in this area.
