Fisher Scientific, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., has announced the full programme of events for its annual customer show Science World, which takes place on October 10th at The Point, Old Trafford. The event, now in its 15th year, features more than 75 leading industry names and is free to attend. Keynote speakers include Ben Goldacre and Marcus Du Sautoy.

With exclusive offers, vouchers, prize draws, competitions and more,  visitors can also go on a guided tour of The Point, based within Lancashire County Cricket Club which is home to The Ashes 2013. All activities are free.

“We are delighted to be at The Point this year, it’s an exciting venue that provides the perfect backdrop for our greatest show to date; we will be building on the success and all of the feedback of the past fifteen years to deliver a memorable and worthwhile event for customers who will be visiting from across the UK” said marketing promotions manager Emily Quinton.

With the official hashtag #InspireScience, Science World 2013 promises more audience interaction than ever and encourages visitors and suppliers to connect with its social media sites in preparation for the event.
