The First Vacuum Expo event will be held in Telford on the 3 & 4 November 2010.

Vacuum Expo 2010 is the new UK exhibition and conference for use and measurement of vacuum in general industry, in science and manufacturing. It will embrace industry needs, emerging technologies and challenges for vacuum coating in PV manufacture, large area coating and optical thin films.

Vacuum Expo has been created following strong industry encouragement and its announcement was followed by the booking into the exhibition of the majority of the UK based Vacuum Supply community.

Comment about the event:

“This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the creation of a new conference and exhibition dedicated to vacuum technology in the UK. Bringing together representatives from industry, R&D, academia and the key suppliers in the industry will be a valuable platform for exchanging information and establishing new links and contacts for all. In addition, the modern facilities combined with the central location, make Telford the ideal location.” Simon Mansbridge, VAT Vacuum

Technical Meetings

The exhibition is supported by a technical meeting programme comprising of two one-day topic driven days; “Innovations in Vacuum Deposited Functional Metal Oxide Coatings” and “RGA and Leak Detection – essential tools for effective control of vacuum systems”.

These meetings offer the scientist and engineer an excellent opportunity for professional development, to investigate these important subjects in depth and detail.
