New platform accelerates carbon and moisture determination

LECO is proud to announce the launch of the new 812 Series Carbon and Moisture Phase - Determinator, a next-generation analytical platform designed to deliver faster, more sensitive, and more reliable carbon and moisture measurements across a wide range of organic and inorganic materials. 

Featuring an advanced horizontal furnace design, enhanced active cooling, and optimised temperature control, the 812 Series delivers analytical results up to 50% faster than previous-generation systems while improving limits of detection by up to 10× for carbon and 20× for moisture. 

The system combines total carbon and moisture determination with thermal differentiation capabilities in a single analysis, eliminating time-consuming sample preparation and providing deeper insight into material composition. Applications include powder metallurgy, additive manufacturing, welding consumables, soil analysis, waste characterisation, and surface cleanliness testing. 

With enhanced usability, flexible multi-atmosphere operation, and improved reliability, the 812 Series helps laboratories increase throughput, reduce maintenance, and make better-informed decisions with confidence.
