Axair continues to work with UK laboratory managers who are focusing on achieving good to outstanding BREEAM ratings in line with their net zero, carbon reduction and sustainability goals.

The introduction of their energy efficient IE5 motors to power the IP55 range of corrosion resistant polypropylene fans has reduced fan energy consumption in fume extraction systems by up to 20% without affecting performance. New and existing laboratories can benefit from this simple mechanical ventilation upgrade which will assist in improving assessed areas within Ene.07 energy efficient laboratories category.

BREEAM credits can be earned if a laboratory can improve operational efficiencies by at least 2%, therefore a 20% improvement is a substantial improvement, especially in intensive laboratories such as those in universities.

Axair welcome enquiries from new and existing customers.
