In many areas of application – extending far beyond drinking and waste water analysis – a fast and reliable TOC/TNb determination is required. Especially samples with an extreme matrix (such as sea water, brines, concentrated acids and lyes) impose high requirements on the TOC analysers operating in accordance with the principle of catalytic high temperature incineration.

However, it is possible to significantly increase the maintenance cycles resulting from the matrix of these samples on the TOC analyser by using optimised combustion control as well as combustion tube filling with consistently stable analysis results.

Thanks to the freely selectable combustion temperature in wide ranges as well as the robust and simultaneously sensitive dimensioning of the Focus Radiation NDIR detector of the multi N/C® series, application solutions with minimised device wear and a significantly increased lifetime are now available.
