Small Top-Loading Autoclave with Large Capacity

The C60 top-loading autoclave from Priorclave has been introduced specifically for those laboratories with limited space yet wanting to perform high-quality steam sterilisation of taller than normal items such as fermentors and large capacity Erlenmeyer flasks.

The autoclave features Priorclave’s Quickseal door which gives easy access to a large 60 litre stainless steel chamber measuring 350mm diameter and a working depth of 625mm.  Typically the chamber can accommodate easily ten one-litre or sixteen 500ml bottles, alternatively six one-litre Erlenmeyer flasks. This highlights the high density loading that can be achieved in a machine requiring just 472 x 620mm of floor space.

Simple pushbutton controls provide easy programming of the microprocessor control system for setting process time and temperature.

This versatile top-loading steam steriliser is available as a standard design or as a vacuum model, both versions are electrically heated with the elements contained within the actual chamber for faster and more efficient build-up of high-temperature, pressurised sterilising steam.  This makes the C60 an extremely cost-efficient autoclave ideal for either continuous or periodic sterilising requirements.

The Quickseal single-action door closure/opening mechanism is designed for one handed operation and incorporates thermal and pressure locks that prevent opening at unsafe temperatures and pressure to prevent personal injury.

The C60 top loading autoclave, although big on capacity is part of Priorclave’s COMPACT range of steam sterilisers that also includes the C40 top and front opening bench top designs.
