RADWAG moisture analyzers MA.3Y series are brand new instruments, designed for drying various substances in laboratory conditions. The device is dedicated to those users, who require measuring accuracy of d=0,1 mg and drying accuracy 0,0001 %.

Technical background
Controlling of a moisture analyzer is carried out with a modern weighing module featuring a 5,7” colourful touch-screen display. The OS in the 3Y series is Windows 6CE, ensuring intuitive and simple operation, while simple and clear menu provides remarkable comfort of use. The detachable terminal features IR programmable proximity sensors, a well-proven solution available in all balances 3Y series, and enables adapting the balance to a workstation.

The technical innovation is followed by upgraded software functionality. Extended databases of products and drying records are stored in large memory (up to 1gb) and are easily transferrable to other devices or computer via standard USB interface. Large 5,7” display enables real-time visualization of drying process, previewing product change trend over time with graphs and charts from drying process.
User profiles of MA.3Y series are fully modifiable and, among others, enable defining user’s access level, standard and non-standard printouts, display content and dedicated soft keys.

Drying criteria
The database of products contains complete product specification with implemented drying parameters. Simply select a product and dry it!
The moisture analyzer provides four drying modes each adjusted to specific application of the device.
• Standard
for regular drying process, recommended for approximately 90 % of drying procedures
• Fast
drying process, initially with temperature exceeded by 30 %, then shifting to the set temperature, for shortening drying process time.
• Step
enables setting phases of drying process, each with set temperature and finish mode. On completing the following step is activated. The step mode is useful for drying samples containing a large amount of water.
• Mild
useful for samples requiring fairly slow increase of drying temperature. Resulting in mild humidity evaporation
Additionally, the MA.3Y series provides setting custom parameters of drying process and finish criteria.

Level control system, and autotest module
The MA.3Y series comprises a cutting-edge system of level control with visualization on balance’s display. The level status is also indicated on printouts and reports. The electronic level control system is an innovation in laboratory weighing market, and has been protected by a patent.
An important innovation of balances 3Y series is the autotest system enabling balance’s self-inspection of repeatability using internal adjustment weight.

E2R Moisture Analyzer
For the purpose of creating a complete drying system, and simplification of data processing, RADWAG offers a network management module, E2R System Moisture Analyzer, i.e. software for remote control over measurement process performed on multiple Radwag moisture analyzers connected through Ethernet. The software is based on MS SQL computer databases, and processed data are easily used to form graphs and reports of weighing process.
The software, is an indispensable tool in places where Radwag moisture analyzers are used, i.e. in laboratories and production plants where control, archiving and real-time analysis of drying data is required. The E2R Moisture Analyzer is a perfect application for systematic monitoring of production process.
