With 35 years of experience in particle sizing technology, pioneering company Fritsch has brought together both its applications development and its latest high-end technology into the Fritsch Technology Centre for Particle Sizing, which is located at its headquarters in Idar-Oberstein/Germany. Covering an area of 240 m2 on three floors, the new facility offers plenty of room for the company’s entire particle sizing team to work and share their knowledge and experience.

The Robert Fritsch Tower provides a dedicated area for the future creation of emerging technical developments in the field of particle sizing, either with or without lasers; application tests are carried out and the optimal parameters for specific measurement tasks are determined based on individual test results and parameters. Ideas for new, innovative instruments and modules are also developed on the top floor of the tower, constantly improving and expanding the range of Fritsch Particle Sizers. One floor below, theory is put to the practical test in the application technology department.

During the setting up of the new centre, the company also modernised and extended its fully equipped training laboratory, where particle measurement technology and all its subtleties to life in practical on-site, hands-on training courses are provided for regional and international sales staff. The specially equipped video area provides improved worldwide online demonstrations of the instruments; these can be accessed either by individual appointment or in public webinars.

These are just two of the benefits offered by the Fritsch Particle Sizing Community, which can be joined and followed on the company’s social media channels, providing news and expert knowledge on current topics in sample preparation and particle sizing.
