7500th Global Sale Celebrated

Seward Ltd has celebrated its 7500th global sale of its Stomacher® 400 Circulator, success that has been attributed to its growing US sales and technical support office which opened in Long Island, New York, September 2008. With manufacturing based at the company’ headquarters in the UK, it is estimated that there are over 8 million food samples a day homogenised using Stomacher® paddle blender units and bags worldwide.

“We are extremely proud of the long history and excellent reputation of our Stomacher trademarked products, some of which are still in reliable routine use after 25 years,” said Technical Director Stuart Ray.

“In terms of how we are expanding, both the US and UK offices have invested in more staff in the last year, with additions to both the sales and technical support departments. Despite the turbulent economic difficulties in 2009, Seward Ltd saw a 10% increase in European sales with consistent growth in Stomacher 400 Circulator machines and Stomacher bag sales. This provides Seward a perfect platform for ongoing growth in 2010 as confidence in the economy grows,” he added.
