ACHEMA in Frankfurt will be the largest gathering in 2009 of global laboratory and analytical instrument purchasers. Over 40,000 people are expected to visit the four Laboratory and

Analytical exhibition halls, and take part in the extensive Congress programme of technical papers, during 11-15 May. Already more than 600 suppliers have taken exhibition space, with

three halls now fully booked. The British contingent, currently 66 exhibitors, is easily the largest international group, followed by Italy, USA, Switzerland, China and France. ACHEMA is supported

by GAMBICA and UKTI, who will provide additional marketing programmes to bring visitors to the British exhibitors’ stands. ACHEMA attendees have the opportunity to visit other relevant

halls, for example, Research and Innovation, Instrumentation, Control and Automation, as well as areas dedicated to other process-related goods and services. In all, 4,000 exhibitors from

50 countries will be present. Mike Day, UK and Ireland representative for ACHEMA, commented, “A small amount of exhibition space is still available, but anyone considering taking

space needs to contact us soon to be sure of taking part in this important event.”
