The Green Chemistry Group, a non-profit organization with an international membership of chromatographers dedicated to educating chemists and promoting the benefits of environmentally friendly research & development processes, will host the SFC 2008 Conference in Zurich, Switzerland. James Waters, founder of Waters Associates (now Waters Corporation) and a leader in the field of chromatography, will join Professor Dr. Massimo Morbidelli of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) to chair this conference, October 1-2, 2008.

The Scientific Program will include the following speakers:

Dr. J. David Pinkston - The Proctor and Gamble Company
Dr. Dauh Rurng Wu - Bristol Myers Squibb
Dr. Monika Johannsen - Technische Universitat Hamburg-Harburg
Dr. Ng Mei Han - Malaysian Palm Oil Board
Larry Miller - Amgen
Dr. Eric Francotte - Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research
Dr. David Corens - Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development, a division of Janssen Pharmaceutica NV
Jimmy DaSilva - Schering-Plough Research Institute
Dr. Ying Wang - Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research
Dr. Didier Thiebaut - Ecole Superieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles de la Ville de Paris
