Kinesis Limited is pleased to announce that it has acquired Abimed Analysen Technik GmbH. Based in Langenfeld, Germany; Abimed has been serving the German Chromatography and Liquid Handling markets for more than 30 years and is one of the most respected companies in these fields.

Abimed will continue to maintain its traditional values of excellence in customer service and technical support, whilst seeking new ways to be of service to existing and new customers. Over the coming months they will be introducing new products and services for liquid handling as well as a comprehensive line of chromatography consumables and instruments. These new products will compliment the current product lines from HTL, ULPlast and Chromacol as well as the successful Abimed pipette service business.

The acquisition of Abimed provides the Kinesis Group with an excellent platform to penetrate Europe’s largest market. Abimed’s team of dedicated staff will work with the Kinesis marketing group and product managers to help further establish Abimed as a major player in the German separation and life sciences markets.

The Kinesis group of companies consists of Kinesis Limited; Kinesis Solutions; Kinesis Incorporated; Kinesis Australia, Kinesis-RSS and Kinesis LM (Liquid Management). Kinesis Limited, Kinesis LM, Kinesis-RSS and Kinesis Solutions are UK based companies who together provide a unique approach to instrumentation, consumable and servicing demands of UK scientists. Kinesis’ products and services are now available on a global basis through direct operations in the USA and Australia and a network of international distributors.
