Compact chilling/heating dry bath for robotic workflows

12 Jun, 2026

Torrey Pines Scientific has introduced a new range of compact chilling and heating dry bath stages designed for integration with robotic laboratory systems.

Developed for use on automated decks, the units are controlled via an RS232 I/O interface and can be operated through an on-deck computer or external PC. They provide temperature control from -20°C to 120°C with stability of ±0.2°C and accuracy of ±0.1–0.2°C, supporting a wide range of assay formats including microplates, aluminium blocks and other sample containers.

The systems are designed to deliver consistent thermal performance in automated workflows where space is limited and precision is critical. Each unit is supplied with the required power supply, interface cable and operating instructions, and is compliant with ETL, CSA and CE standards.
