A selection of smaller-capacity steam sterilisers will be featured by UK manufacturer Priorclave on stand 1E02 (Hall 1) at this year’s Medica Exhibition, including models equipped with the new Tactrol Touch. Developed by Priorclave, the compact touch-screen control centre guides autoclave users easily through set-up procedures for achieving optimum sterilisation performance as well as providing real-time monitoring of process status.

The EH150 Priorclave, the company’s first steam steriliser to be released with the new touch screen control, is a 150 litre front-loading autoclave providing 20% more load area than conventional models of similar size. It will be joined on stand 1E02 by one of the company’s most popular top-loading autoclaves, the EV100, a 100 litre electrically heated autoclave and the smaller C60 compact top-loading Priorclave equipped with advanced cooling and automatic timed freesteaming to aid faster throughput.

Models featured by Priorclave at Medica on stand 1E02 will give an insight to the versatility and build-quality of the ‘smaller’ autoclave ranges which cater for low-volume, periodic sterilising requirements as well as having the flexibility for higher volume and more frequent applications. An extensive range of options, not often found in smaller machines, enable Priorclave to tailor, when required, a machine build to satisfy virtually any laboratory sterilising requirement.

The Priorclaves to be shown at Medica are a very small part of a comprehensive range of standard steam sterilisers produced in the UK in capacities up to 700 litres, including bench-top autoclaves, top and front loading autoclaves, round and rectangular chambered sterilisers and ‘unique’ designs including double-entry machines for through-wall applications to prevent cross-contamination.
