For laboratories looking for a relatively small autoclave but cannot accommodate a benchtop model and there is limited floor space, a vertical chamber steriliser is the ideal solutions.  And where there are demanding loads that need sterilising, the only smart solution is a research grade laboratory autoclave developed from Priorclave.

Priorclave offers a range of vertical chamber (top loading) autoclave, with capacities ranging from 60 to 150 litres. Not only do they easily accommodate the tallest flasks, fermentors, and bioreactors, they’re also excellent for waste processing, especially in large batches. Priorclave’s top loading autoclaves are among the most compact full-size units on the market today.  Compared to similar-sized medical-grade rectangular-vessel units, cylindrical autoclaves are easier to operate, less expensive to maintain, and more reliable over a longer working life.

The smallest in the range, the V60 autoclave, is now available as a SMART option.  They will become the preferred choice for industrial, research, and production labs and facilities since they offer more benefits and features as standard. The SMART range offers fully customisable cycles (with expanded memory), pre-cycle and post-cycle vacuum, integrated cooling and freesteaming, and air intake filtration as standard.

These top loading autoclaves are ideal for standard tasks such as media prep, waste loads, labware, they also produce drier loads and can more reliably handle complex loads that tend to trap air.  Typically, they will be used for processing mixed waste, biological waste, pathogen-heavy materials, cloth and textile sterilisation, soil and substrate preparation, wrapped instruments, and porous loads.

Every top-loading autoclave incorporates Tactrol®3, a programmable controller that brings a more simplistic approach to function settings. It gives more precise control and delivers information on cycle process to achieve the ultimate in sterilisation performance.
