The high‑efficiency cylindrical pressure vessel enables the EV100‑SMART to match—and in certain applications surpass—the throughput of larger, front‑loading autoclaves with rectangular chambers, particularly when processing very tall or vertically oriented loads.

Engineered to exceed the stringent requirements of industrial, research, and production laboratories, the EV100‑SMART is designed for applications extending well beyond routine media preparation, waste decontamination, and labware sterilisation. It excels in the sterilisation of complex or irregular loads prone to air entrapment, delivering consistently dry, reliable results you can trust.

The EV100-SMART incorporates a comprehensive feature set, including:

• Air intake filtration to maintain sterility during pressure equalisation

Despite its small form factor, the EV100‑SMART achieves sterilisation conditions of up to 138 °C / 2.4 bar (280 °F / 34 psi). Operator and laboratory safety is ensured by the Quickseal single‑action door, equipped with both thermal and pressure interlocks that prevent opening above 80 °C or 0.2 bar.

Control of such a powerful tool is provided by Priorclave’s exclusive Tactrol®3 control unit, enabling precise cycle programming without compromising ease of use. Multiple user‑access levels allow laboratories to configure separate programs for technical staff and trainees, with modifications secured via key switch or password protection. Features such as Delayed Start and Media Warming are particularly valued in research environments, allowing growth media to be sterilised overnight and held at optimal dispensing temperature—minimising risks of thermal degradation, caramelisation of high‑glucose formulations, or boil‑over events. This enables media to be prepared overnight and kept ready-to-pour at the start of the next morning!

Whilst all external epoxy-coated surfaces are provided with an antimicrobial protection which cannot leach or be washed off, remaining safe and effective for the entire lifetime of the autoclave.
