As of November 2009 Esco GB announce the introduction of a voluntary discount scheme under which Esco GB will give safety cabinet owners £500 towards a new Class II Microbiological Safety Cabinet if they trade in a safety cabinet aged over 5 years for scrap.

The scheme is intended to get older safety cabinets out of laboratories across the UK and encourage consumers to invest in new, safer and more environmentally friendly models.
