Phenomenex, Inc has been presented with a ‘People to People’ Award by the City of Torrance Office of Economic Development for its contributions to the growth and prosperity of the city. Presented by City Mayor Frank Scotto at a special reception celebrating the annual Torrance Advantage Awards, the accolade recognises the organisation’s enhancement of employment opportunities as well as investments in its talented and skilled workforce. Employee motivational activities, including water balloon fights, golf cart races and marching band appearances, were also mentioned as contributing to a fun atmosphere and distinctive culture at the company.
